"Our experience at Cali Colombian was good, but it could have definitely be better. Decided to go before the dinner rush and the restaurant at half capacity. The restaurant is not big. Friendly welcome, order was placed and served quick, and that was the last time we saw our server. The apetizers and dishes we decent, more on the room temperature side. Two things to seriously improve: the servers should do rounds. There were 5 employees sitting on a table on a laptop for the duration of our visit. I had to get up twice to refill our drinks, another to request to go boxes and also to request the bill. No one came to our table for approx 40 mins. Good food, poor service. The background music was very loud."
"We loved everything about this place. Drove 2 hours and 30minutes and they did not disappoint. Our male server was amazing. He just had this nice aura we loved. He was friendly, made recommendations and checked on us enough to made us feel comfortable and happy. I tried the limonada de coco for the first time and I can’t get over it. Their fried red snapper was absolutely delicious. I hadn’t had good fried fish since I left my country so I highly recommend theirs. Fried yuca tasted fresh and crispy. My boyfriend got the bandeja paisa and really liked the quality of the chorizo and steak. Everything we tried was really good and portions are worth the price. Would definitely come back!"
"First of all, for those who expect typical Colombian food to be spicy or seasoned, that is not what this food is about. The place is small, but the service was quick. We ordered 2 empanadas, and they were at the table in a couple of minutes. Then, with the main food, we didn't wait longer than 15 minutes. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The restrooms were clean. The prices were fair. Overall, I can see the frustration if you go on peak hours and all the tables are already full, but at least with us the service was fast and the food was delicious. Definitely will come back."
"Great addition to Charlotte area! The food was exquisite, right size and fair price. Service was great as well. I recommend this place for Colombian food and Latin cuisine."
"The price was reasonable. I just think the food definitely needs some seasoning. We ordered some empanadas & they tasted like sweet potatoes. The steak was just some salt added & the rice definitely had no seasoning. I think the only thing that had good seasoning was the arroz con pollo which I tried with my son."
