"very small and compact have a lot of good stuff. Just didn't make sense of adding the store because there's one in Pineville and Woodlawn & South Blvd. The employees were all girls no self checkout. I wanted to return an item the cashier said that the item wasn't listed on the receipt and told corp. they told me I had to go the original store purchased"
"Rude employes ,I went with my husband to buy some things, I didn't buy anything, but when we left, the alarm at the front door rang, we stopped because we thought the cashier had forgotten to remove an alarm from someone, one of the cashiers looked at us and approached us. us and she checked my husband's bag and everything was fine then she looked at me and told me that maybe my bag had something inside she told me to give her my bag and knowing that I had nothing I gave it to her, then she asked me if It was my personal bag I told her yes, that is to say that she thought that my personal bag was part of the store and that maybe I had something inside, when she found out that it was my personal bag, she returned it to me, and I immediately opened my bag and told her I said look, I'm not bringing anything, but now knowing that she simply shouldn't touch my personal bag and that if I had stolen something the only one who should do it is the police so I should have called the police and I should have filed charges against that woman and that store where they do not train their staff on how to treat people I would never go back to a Burlington store I would never prefer to pay a few extra dollars in a store that values my purchase and my rights as a person so if you read this it is better to spend your money where it is valued !!"
"I rarely leave negative reviews but I must leave a review. It’s very apparent the people who work here hate their job, at least the night crew. The middle aged woman who wears a mask, with flat brown hair, was very disappointing to interact with. She was rude to my friend at the fitting room, short with me, and TALKED POORLY about a customer in line to me! I was SHOCKED. That is totally inappropriate behavior. They made the woman (customer) in line behind me feel very uncomfortable as they stereotyped her, and said she was talking too much (said to me). The short gentleman with glasses was a bit rude to that woman as well, I thought his tone was inappropriate for a work setting. I am a manager in customer service and have been for 4 years. This 100% appears to fall on the managers, they should keep a better eye on how their employees interact with customers and should make sure their employees have decent job satisfaction. That certainly would help better the customer service. I also paid in cash, our cashier kept speaking into her radio apologizing for taking cash. It was apparent that management told them to stop taking cash for the night. This was before close, so if you have cash, be prepared to be denied for trying to use it. My best friend and I had a great time, we shopped for 3 hours only to be disappointed at the end of the night. Do better Burlington."
"The store is typically clean. Maybe because the 5/6 staff working are all on the floor putting things back, and there’s often only one person on the register. Today I was in line for over 20 minutes. There was only 5 people ahead of me with one young lady on the register. This isn’t the only Burlington I’ve been to that had one person working the register with a line full of people. I’m not sure if it’s a new business model for them but I’ll be avoiding shopping at the store moving forward. Burlington used to be two steps ahead of Ross, but now it’s on the same level."
