Reviews of Lowe's Home Improvement
"I purchased a Whirlpool washer & dryer from here which was the “Load & Go machine with the removable agitator.” The matching dryer as well. The worst! Total waste of money! After waiting a month & a half for the delivery…The washer and dryer worked for 1 week. Lowes actually delivered a faulty machine to my home. The washer does not dispense soap or pick up that the dispenser tank even exist. The dryer will only run for 1 min and 30 seconds then says your clothes are dry & they are NOT! You must keep hitting start to reset it and dry them again until it’s fully dry!. Lowe’s won’t replace it if you don’t get their protection. Whirlpool came out and said the sensors, mother board, & dispenser tank are fully out. They were faulty machines to start! & that’s rare because I just purchased it. Heed my warning."
"Here I sit with no washer and dryer after spending a total of more than $6k with Lowe’s on a new washer and dryer. Store blames Delivery…then Delivery blames store. To add insult to injury, Lowe’s Delivery knew before they picked up the brand new exchange units yesterday that they didn’t have the ones I ordered in-hand to deliver today. The “Director” at Lowe’s Delivery was useless, with no desire to solve the problem. She just wanted to blame the store. All I wanted was for the washer and dryer I paid for to be delivered when promised, which was supposed to be today. I called the manufacturer. They have them in stock, yet Lowe’s can’t even get the ones they sold me until February. So it appears Lowe’s oversold their stock with no regard as to how many they actually knew they could get. I called the store again and the person in appliances was rude and unhelpful. The manager never called me as requested either. Went to Home Depot and they were able to confirm they have the same washer and dryer in stock in their warehouse. Moral of the story - avoid Lowe’s at all cost!"
"Very Helpful staff! I’ve picked up serval orders here and it’s always a smooth process. Darius was a great help for getting a very bulky order safely loaded on my trailer. I appreciated his positive attitude and willingness to help me."
"As being someone who handles most of my home projects. Having a home improvement store near is a good thing. This location usually has everything I need. The store associates are helpful but at times maybe hard to find them. But this is still a good place to shop for anything to do with your home."
"Do not buy appliances here. I don't care it it cost a few dollars or several hundred. There are many more appliance stores that have better store policies and customer service. So, I waited over a month and a half before I completed this review. I bought a fridge on 7/19/2023 for my new house I had just closed on. It was delivered on 7/22/2023, sans box. By 7/24/2023 the fridge stopped cooling. I called multiple times, but the first call (during 48 hour policy) was made. I never heard back but assumed I would receive a call, and went out of town on vacation. I returned, and still no call so I went into the store and spoke with the associate that I purchased the item from on 8/1/2023. Was told that a ticket was placed to a swap as I wanted to upgrade to a larger and better since I no longer trusted the brand I'd bought, and I asked if I would receive an email to which I was told yes I would get an email at the time it was processed. On 8/2/2023, no email so I call the store, and at that time, I was told that there was a 48 hour policy and it was out of time. I already knew that because I'd called already during the time it was under their return/refund policy. So, I call their corporate office, and was told I'd receive a call in 24 hours to see if a resolution could be reached. Case #10350866. I received a call from the store manager stating that he was working with the warehouse, and if he took it back he'd have to eat the cost--OK. That's not my problem, and is honestly the cost of doing business in a large chain store that sells large purchase products. He gave me his email, asked if I have an iphone (my reply was yes), and to send a screenshot of my call. I sent it, and he emailed back stating all calls in were recorded that came in and he would get back with me when found. Of course, that never happened. I call corporate office again, and was told that it could be returned if in original packaging. I stated that it was, as it was delivered into my home without the box and packaging. Customer service representative states she has a photo of the fridge in a box on the truck, ok, but the photo is not of the fridge in the box in my house. Policy is that the way it is delivered into your home is the original packaging, which was just the fridge and plastic, which was just there. It was not delivered into my home in factory packaging, so therefore that does not apply. In any case, I took it up with Hisense, and 1.5 months later it was fixed, this morning (9/5/2023). The fridge had a crack in the seal system, the compressor had failed, and there was an oil leak. So three parts had to be replaced on a fridge. Basically the entire sealed system was replaced. The oil leak is not a common issue in a new fridge. Hisense case H2746153. I just urge you to look around, even if you just use another store location."
