The Southerly Biscuit & Pie

"This popped up when I searched for “breakfast places near me”. On my first trip I got the bacon&cheddar, ham&cheddar, and the biscuits and gravy. ALL were amazing. The biscuits are the proper size, texture, and compliment each combination perfectly. And the cherry on top was the Diet Coke in a GLASS BOTTLE (iykyk). The staff are super friendly and treated me like family the minute I walked in. I will definitely be bringing my husband, dad, or anyone who wants to join me here!"

"My coworkers wanted to try this place one day a few weeks ago and we were more than satisfied after that experience! The staff is exceptionally kind and welcoming. The cheese grits are a perfect morning pick me up. And each biscuit I’ve tried has been very different from the last and amazing. You can tell they craft all of their food with love and are passionate about their products! The catfish biscuit has been my favorite thus far, honestly one of, if not, the best biscuits I’ve ever had! I ate one and immediately wanted to go back for another! I highly recommend Southerly!"

"It was a Sunny Saturday Morning, we wanted a quick breakfast and heard this place has some of the best biscuits in NC. We were not disappointed. Upon entry I felt like I was going to a bluestone sandwich shop. Nice beach yacht theme with a small set up. We ordered the friend chicken biscuits and some gravy. After ordering we were provided with some free mini biscuits filled with chocolate (amazing). They had some cool mugs, shirts, apron, bags for sale as well. There is not much space inside to eat just a few standing rails. Outside the beverage place next door has some seating, not sure if it’s normally allows to customers from southerly to eat there, but did it as nothing else was open. Good spot."

"Picked up lunch here today with the family and highly recommend! The crack pie is MUST! We had a wide variety of biscuits and they were all phenomenal. Met the owner and she’s absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is homemade and delicious. Certainly the type of establishment that I’d love to give plenty of business to. So glad to have found this gem! Highly recommend!!!"
