Ocean View Restaurant

"Had lunch here today (New Years Day 1 January 2024) after a nice walk along the beach at Fort Fisher. We wanted to walk on the pier, but it's closed for renovations. We shared the fried chicken (with fries, as the menu stated it's enough for two people. It was half a chicken! Plenty of leftovers. The chicken was so juicy and tender; and the batter nice and crispy. Really good!!! Fries were nice an crispy too. I had a bloody Mary and DH had a coffee. Very friendly service and the owner came over and chatted with us for a few minutes. I recommend this place if you're hungry for breakfast or lunch."

"If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here. Fresh ingredients and tasty food. The fries were especially good. My friend loved her B.L.E.A.T sandwich which is their special twist to a BLT. We also got a mini key lime pie to go. Staff is all super friendly and the menu has a great variety of breakfast and lunch offerings. Highly recommend this place to everyone."

"This quaint sweet place was wonderful! The staff was welcoming. The family pictures on the walls. Was nice and cool on a hot June day. The waitress told me to get the pork belly burger, and oh my gosh the red onion jelly was incredible! Others got fried shrimp, chicken, and avocado toast. Phenomenal service and amazing food!"
