"Stop in to pick up dinner over the weekend. I will NEVER go back. This is what $17 of chicken nachos looks like, absolutely disgusting. I should have checked it before I left but they were busy. Got home and opened the box. The smell was off, i didn't even attempt to eat it. From the smell and the looks. But this is $17 of chicken nacho!!! Will never go back, will not recommend this restaurant to anyone."
"Casual counter service restaurant with a festive decor, and plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. I'm surprised other reviewers would complain it's not an "authentic Mexican restaurant" because from its name to the menu, it obviously is not trying to be one. It offers interesting, eclectic $11 giant burritos, nachos, and salads. The "Notorious PIG" burrito was spicy and deliciously meaty. For a slight upcharge, I got the fried avocado instead of a grilled filling for the "Thai Mee Up" burrito and it was so good! Thick, breaded slices! My only small complaint was that the peanut sauce was really subtle. There's also a large selection of salsas to try with the basket of chips that come with every order. On Sundays, they also have $3 mimosas!"
"I have no idea where all of these positive reviews came from. First and foremost, the food was horrible. The rice and black beans had absolutely no salt and no spice to them. The tortilla chips had no salt on them either. And the salsa was basically crushed up vegetables like tomatoes and onions and so forth but with no seasoning or spices whatsoever. This place is not cheap. Expect to pay around $15 a person including a drink and tax. The service is quite slow as when I went they only had one person working the register and taking orders and then after he took an order he had to go tell somebody something in the back area. If you have more than four people don’t expect to find a lot of places to sit. I think there were maybe two tables that could accommodate more than four people. I generally don’t like to leave negative reviews of a business unless I absolutely feel it’s necessary. I don’t want to say something negative about a business if it was a one time thing. But there were five people in our party and every single person had the exact same complaint about the food. They all agreed that there was no seasoning and there was no salt. I would think twice before I spent my money here if I were you."
"This place was awesome. Fresh salsa. Different flavors to choose from. The fish and shrimp burrito was terrific."
"This was our first visit. The reviews had me excited as I love Mexican food. The staff were friendly and explained what to do as soon as we walked up. The Resturant was clean and the food candy out quickly. However, this is not authentic Mexican food. The set up is different then expected. You order your food, they give you a number, and they bring the food to you. While you wait you have your chips and a bar of different salsas to try. Personally, I thought the food was bland. Not seasoned in the way I expect Mexican food to be seasoned. I don’t recommended getting the grilled shrimp tacos and I don’t recommend adding the pinto beans and rice. The make your own burrito was a little more seasoned, but not at the level we were use to having from Mexican restaurants. There was a steady crowd that came in for dine and take out. So maybe it’s just me. I will not be returning, but you can try it for yourself as half the tables were full and folks were steady picking up to go order."
