"I always end up buying something. I admit, I don't need furniture but I am on the lookout for outdoor decorative pieces, nice odd plates (particularly hand painted ones), non-fiction books and if it is a good deal, pet bowls, kids games and I now have more indoor and outdoor pillows than a home should probably have! Lots of fun to look around. And if you are a book lover there are a lot of books! A bag full is only $5. Update Jan 2024 Just to let everyone know the cashier that used to work there is no longer employed there. I too had been overcharged by her and even had to defend the purchase price when checking out even though it was clearly marked. I stopped going as often as I used to because of that -- I thought she only treated me like that -- I did not know she did that to other people too. Anyways, come on back and have a look around, there's lots of great stuff!"

"I too had the same experience as the last post about the rudeness of the older women behind the counter. I asked how much something was and when flipping the item around I did see the price and told her I didn't want it and she goes well then you will have to put it back in the most rudest way. I didn't have a problem putting it back but was just the way she said it. She needs a talking too about customer service! Won't be returning to that store!"

"Have been going to this store for years and up to this point have liked it and recommended it to friends when they were looking for items. Cannot do this anymore and cannot in good conscience continue to come here and spend our money. The elderly lady working the register has to be one of the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever encountered working retail. She was extremely rude in the way she talked to me and my teenage son and at one point took the items we wished to buy and slammed them down on the counter. She had no idea what anything costs in the store and just charged us what she thought it should cost. Come to find out she severely overcharged us for everything. This ladies extreme rudeness has put me off from even returning to this store."

"An employee at this store falsely accused me of “vaping” inside while I was using my inhaler in the middle of a sudden asthma flare-up. I assume what she saw as vapor was a spritz of albuterol from my prescribed inhaler as I was testing to see if it was still functional. Not only was I wrongly accused, she was incredibly rude and sarcastic about it as well. Extremely upsetting."

"onths ago What a wonderful place. The people are so kind and encouraging and friendly. It was such a happy place and the prices were awesome. The things I found were things that I would never in a million years find anywhere else. I'm having to refurnish my four bedroom after saving it from foreclosure and Habitat for humanity has been my saving Grace."
