Reviews of Resident Culture - South End
"I just ordered a breakfast burrito for lunch (crazy, huh?) I have to say it was about as perfect tasting as any that I've ever experienced. Their 'Killer Coffee' iced blend is also excellent. Keep up the great work people, I will definitely be back! Thank you..."
"This is our second time visiting this location. We didn’t have a great experience the first time and decided to try it a second time. Paid 15 dollars to park and stayed about 20 minutes. There was about 10 people there and the male bartender looked at us like it was an inconvenience to even be there. We had to order our food through the app that is located at the table. Once our food and drinks were brought to the table we wanted to add a sprite to the order and again had to get back on the app to order a sprite. Just not the friendliest atmosphere. Love the location on Central Ave and will be back to that one anytime."
"I'm not sure you can visit Charlotte Uptown and skip over this. If you did, you're doing an absolute disservice to yourself. We were in town for a concert and of course, when in rome, drink beer. We made our way down to Resident Culture a little early, about 30 minutes before the bar actually opened but when we walked through the door we were immediately greeted with genuine hospitality and offered to go ahead and get a beer early. Don't have to tell us twice. As usual, we went with the stout and a hazy IPA and we then had the argument that this was the best stout I've had since Norse Brewing came out with Phat Thor. Incredible atmosphere in this place. We finished our beer and on the way out we couldn't skip the coffee bar that in the back (NEXT TO TACOS). The coffee was just as good. If we're in the area again, we'll for sure be back."
"Bonus coffee bar in the back! Come during the day for some chill vibes and free wifi. This is my go-to spot for a mobile workspace; order up a velvety coffee, from scratch breakfast burrito, and set up in the open, plant-filled atmosphere. There’s even a unique vending machine with quirky trinkets and local art! I’m definitely coming back again, it’s a well executed breakfast workplace."
"Resident Culture just recently opened. So fairly new spot but the atmosphere on a Saturday night is amazing. Everyone is having a good time dancing , drinking , socializing, eating tacos( Toro buto) or all of the above. Also, they have a movable POS which is nice for processing customers fast. You have to be 21+ to get in (at night) . There’s enough room for everyone. They have tables on the main floor , at the back of the main floor and outdoor sitting too. Going to the restroom, they have a Disco ball spinning that’s pretty cool. The DJ is on point with the music selection . Menu of their drinks on the TV. I’ll say it like a mini optimist Hall but without the multiple food outlets. Overall, great experience. It’s a spot to chill let loose with great friends."
