Plato's Closet Gastonia

"I brought a few items in that were brand new or only worn once that I bought for a total of $125. They were from a very popular brand so I knew they would sell. They gave me less than $20 for my items, so it was basically a donation. I have gotten a better deal for old/cheap clothes. The selection of clothes isn’t good except for active wear. There are a few items there that are too worn out imo to be sold and I would just donate them at that point. Idk, maybe I should have worn the clothes I brought in for a couple months or years before bringing them in. Most of the jeans are super ripped up styles that nobody wants. There are like 1-2 items worth buying, but I typically leave empty handed."

"This store turns down the good clothes to buy the JUNK. They have Honey Boo Boo looking through the clothes. She has NO style at ALL. Don't waste your time selling clothes here. I'll NEVER go back."

"Plato's Closet is my daughter's new bestfriend. She fell in love the moment we walked into the store. She had been looking for a while for a clothing store that would carry something that fit her style and Plato's Closet hit the mark. I was surprise to see a men's section. You do have to wear a mask to enter. Safety first. You can even try on clothing. The staff cleans off the handle and other stuff before you enter so you can be safe. They even had a small area for plus sizes. It was an awesome experience and my stylish daughter had a blast."
