"On vacation here on Oak Island and noticed a slow leak on a rear tire. Boys Under the Hood was around the corner from where we were staying. Called them about 8:30 AM and ask if I could have them take a look at my tire. They were booked for the day but said if I dropped it off they could work it in between jobs. They called about 11:00 AM and told me they resolved the problem. When I picked up the car they showed me a bent 16 penny nail that they pulled out of the tire. The repair was quick and very reasonably priced. So glad my son recommended these folks. A real professional business that I would use again and recommend to anybody who needs an automobile repair. "While vacationing in Oak Island we got something in our tire causing a slow leak. We stopped at Boys Under The Hood to see if they could look at it. Upon pulling in the parking lot to simply ask if they could look at it, we were very rudly told to move out of the parking lot. I explained we were not parking there but only asking a question. They didn't care and just wanted us out of their parking lot. So we moved the car. I went in to ask if they could look at the tire. I was told "No, try another service station". Which by this point we were happy to do. As we were pulling out they were filling their parking lot with no parking signs. Seems as though they do not want customers and lord forbid, don't pull into their parking lot, not even to ask a question. Rude folks there. Do not go there."
