"A friend and I dined hear for an early lunch. As soon as I arrived, I was happy to see that parking was plentiful and there was no steps to use as the property is build on flat land. Those who may use w wheelchair do not have this added detail. I looked at the menu the night before but could not decide as the menu is two pages. Finally decided on the ribs and grits and I was not disappointed. My friend had the chicken cheese steak and fries and said it was ok. That may not be a bad thing since I tend to believe no one does a Philly cheese steak like that if Philly. Nevertheless the waiter was very attentive and the ambiance was pleasant. There aren’t booths but the open conversation among the neighboring tables was not a disturbance. For those who may be hard of hearing, this was not a big worry. The food came out relatively quick. The flavor of the beef was very tasty. It was a bit tough but I like a little pink and suspect this may have been due to a little overdone. The grits were superb with just the right amount of cheese so as not to overwhelm the flavor of the grits. I did not use the gravy, but I tasted it and it was ok. No tanginess, just a good gravy. I like all my food sans dressings and sauces but for those of you who like a little wetness, this could be the thing. I regret not getting the biscuits but will be back as it was very pleasant to dine here and the food was marvelous. My friend didn’t comment much about her cheesesteak so it was probably average. I also had a hot chocolate and it was rich but nothing dramatic. Will definitely be back for the biscuits and a cocktail."

"Stopped by Wilmington on a road trip and couldn’t have been happier with the choice. We started with the sweet potato biscuits. They were soft and flavorful but not too sweet, which I appreciated. They came with a cream cheese icing that was perfect for them. I got the Dirty Birdie and was blown away. It was huge and everything came together well, though you won’t be able to fit your mouth around it. Good biscuit, good sausage gravy, great fried chicken (the breading was amazing). My girlfriend got the shrimp and grits and was pleased. Our server, Christian, was friendly and helpful. $40 (minus the tip) for two great meals, an appetizer, and orange juice, which I gladly paid. We only finished about half and took the rest to go. Would love to find other breakfast joints like that in my local area."

"Do not pass this place up! It’s unbelievable. Everything we ordered was 15/10. The sweet potato biscuits are a must. They are incredible and the honey butter is amazing. All the portions are huge and their biscuits are hefty in all the best ways. Their omelets are amazing, the chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict’s, grits and pancakes are all incredible. Does get busy on the weekends with at least a 30 minute wait but 1000% worth it. Will be back often!"

"Enjoyed brunch here this Sunday with my family. The food was so delicious. Very glad we chose to go early as they were at capacity by 9AM. Even in the rush our service was decent, food came out quick & hot and the coffee was delicious as well. We were sat by the door. Halfway through the meal I was sweating. The small dining area gets very, very warm as they fill up. Didn’t mind much since I was too involved with the bowl of shrimp and grits in front of me. For my family of 3 our bill was $55 and that’s with 2 adult meals, a kids plate, a juice, two coffees and an order of the gravy biscuit for the table. Thought it was a good price for what we ordered & portions were plenty. We will be back!"
