"Unfriendly staff,didn't feel like I was welcome there."

"After a long day of not finding anything I walked in with some hope and only found disrespect . They acted like I have no money following me to the bathroom like, what am I going to steal in the the bathroom.They were rude and I felt discriminated against. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The smell was bad, which is probably why she had a mask on the whole time, this place has discouraged me to shop here. The atmosphere was unbearable I left immediately."

"I walked in the store on January 2, 2023, at 1650, with my friend. Whoever was working was utterly disrespectful. I have never seen such poor treatment in a store, especially a Chico’s. It felt like a “Pretty Woman” moment. As I was shopping, my friend asked to use their restroom and thanked them accordingly. After she walked passed them, they stared at her and started following her. It felt like racial profiling as my friend is African American. Meanwhile, I am a mixed, white and Asian woman who they did not bother. As she departed from the restroom, the woman in the mask said, “you’re welcome”, in the most degrading, sarcastic tone. I will not be returning to this location."

"I can't imagine anyone having unkind things to say about the associates at this Chico's. I go often, and these ladies are always kind and helpful. They've been great on the phone, in person, purchasing, or returning. You couldn't ask for better treatment."

"I love Chico’s and have worn their clothes for years. I just moved to Wilmington from another area and I have to say the staff at this location are rude and not helpful at all. I went in today and the staff was not wearing their masks until I walked in and then it was the scramble to put them on. The store was empty on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and that should speak to the reputation of this location. This store does not reflect the friendly staff that I have come to know from this company. It’s a shame that I would rather shop online that at this location."
