Reviews of Three Guys Subs & Pies
"I found this place to be pretty good. Everybody seemed friendly, and went out of their way to make us happy. I did not see some of the critical reviews, I do see people trying to make a buisness work."
"This establishment is not what it portrays itself to be. It is not a pillar of the community of Conway, but that is what they would like everyone to believe because it is owned by three local men who pride themselves as being “born and raised” in Conway. And it shows. Not one of them has ever worked in the food and beverage industry, rather they thrive on their last name and a facade of having a positive reputation in Conway. When in reality, they use and abuse their young staff, discriminate against the black folks of their community, and do not follow the proper protocols of health and sanitation for Horry County. There is zero training provided to the young staff members they hire and they have an astronomical turn over rate because of severely poor management and ownership. The brothers who own this business are also perfectly fine having an adult “manager” present from time to time, when he is not out getting high and then driving back to work at the restaurant to oversee minor children while they handle your food without gloves and basic sanitation guidelines. This “manager” also takes a liking to the minor girls who get hired there. Parents beware: DO NOT allow your children to work here, especially if they are female. The food is subpar, at best. If you respect yourselves, you will not patronize this place."
"Kind of upset with Three Guys Subs and Pies. T-Mobiles Tuesday Rewards this week was coupons for local pizza places through Pizza Deals. One of those was for Three Guys Subs and Pies. When you click redeem it takes you to a screen with a unique code for you to present to the vendor. I made my order and presented my coupon. The gentlemen behind the counter told me to tell them (Them being TMobile) to send me a coupon then, that I could just keep using the coupon over and over. If you don't want to accept a coupon that's fine, just say so. But accusing me of scamming my way to a bunch of free pizzas is disingenuous and rude."
"Three Conway born and raised brothers on December 7, 1997 opened their doors to a sub and pizza shop. What they lacked in restaurant know how had them recruiting the help of a local franchise. Now, with nearly a combined 60 years between the three that have mastered the art of homemade pizza, oven backed subs, wings, pasta and their own famous chef salad. Inside, one will find counter ordering, padded booths and padded metal chairs and tables. Checkered tile floor, faux brick and sports memorabilia covered the walls. Our Super Sub came with an ample amount of sliced deli ham, turkey and roast beef. Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and their own sauce of mustard, mayo and special herbs and spices on a toasted hoagie. Combo adds a bag of chips and a soda. Service was friendly and sandwich commendable. Living just down the road will certainly having us come again. Maybe a pizza order next time."
"I live 5 minutes from this place and have given them several chances. The problem is all young kids work there and they don't care about the quality of the food. The bottom of the pizza is undercooked...all of the toppings are in the center of the pizza. You can tell its just thrown together. This is not the first second or third bad experience. Guess I'll just stop giving my business and go back to chain pizza. So much for trying to support local businesses"
