"I have been wanting to try this place since they opened it last year. I finally got the chance to go and try it. I was not disappointed at all! Chef Chris & his assistant greeted us immediately as we walked in with smiles! We were not sure what to get on the menu. Chef Chris gave us samples of his brisket, which was delicious. Samples of his Brisket Burger & Brisket Sausage with cheddar and jalapeños. It was an explosion of great flavors. They were both very knowledgeable & very helpful in our ordering process. We ended up ordering Brisket,Ribs & Brisket Burger. everything was DELICIOUS. This place is definitely worth trying. The banana pudding is also very good!! This place is a MUST TRY!"

"I've been riding by this place on my way to and from the beach and finally decided to stop. The colorful, outside appearance of the building is not nearly as enticing as the wood smoked aroma that fills the air and draws you inside. The inside is like an old county store with an eating area with booths and tables. I was immediately greeted by the head chef and his assistant. As I had trouble deciding what to order, it was suggested that I get the 3 meat plate so I would know which meat to order next time. The ribs were fork tender and delicious without needing any additional sauce. The pulled pork and brisket was equally tender and tasty. Mac and cheese and collards were my sides and were good. Next time....I'll order all 3 meats again since it was ALL the best barbecue I have ever had!!"

"I'm brand new to the area and my brother told me to come by Crown BBQ and try the food because I'm a Chef and a foodie, he had said it was very good. There's absolutely nothing like smoked food, the time, effort and energy that is put into it makes it very unique. I had the smoked BBQ sandwich with their made in house Cole slaw topped with Texas Pete. It was absolutely delicious. The owner Chris was very knowledgeable about his operation which I can respect. The thing is anybody can fry, saute or throw some food in the oven. But the low and slow process of SMOKED MEATS IS TRULY AN ART. I'll definitely be back for another sandwich and good vibes. I haven't had any other smoked foods in the area like Chef Chris offers at Crown BBQ that's what makes what he is doing so unique."
