Walmart Auto Care Centers

"Went to Hope Mills Walmart to exchange car battery purchased and exchanged what I thought was a new battery purchased in Oct 22. After waiting 30mins for a (Mgr) Kumari to come authorized transaction, the associated stated the warranty expired as of original purchased date in Oct 2020. This was the 3rd Battery exchanged at that store. It looks like the auto batteries sold at Store #2929 ARE NOT NEW but recharged or refurbished and put back into service. This is the only explanation for having to exchange three batteries in 3years. The current date of battery exchanged last year was OCT/2022. So you do the math! Watch out, 3 others were in line returning batteries also. Something ain't right!!!"

"I came in for a tire rotation and balance. 2 hours of waiting in the waiting area later I find out that they didn't do anything because my tread was low. I had to ask what was going on. No one came and told me anything. They decided that they weren't going to do it over an hour before I got tired of waiting. Had they informed me of the issue I would have just bought new tires from them and had them installed. The man at checkout was to preoccupied with taking his break even though I'd been waiting longer than he'd been clocked in. Extremely unprofessional."

"Took my daughter’s car to get a battery exchanged under a warranty. Frankie was working hard handling phone calls and waiting on customers. Micheal too my battery to test it right away. They were working hard but need more help. There was just 2 employees, not enough for there volume. The were nice… even an off duty employee Kayla called management for a shopping cart for me!!! Great teamwork!!!"

"Painfully slow. I called ahead and was told a 2-3 hour wait so I was expecting a wait. What I wasn't expecting was when I got there to be the only car waiting for service. After about an hour I overheard a call to the service desk. Question: how long is the wait? Answer: 2-3 hours. I was still the only car being serviced. It took almost 3 hours for an oil change and to get 4 new tires, on a compact car not a big truck. So yes, it's painfully slow. Also apparently the cheapest tires you can buy now cost $60 plus all the extras."
