"I was looking for a different place to eat and found this out of the way diner. I found it after googling "breakfast in Wallace, NC". After swiping through all the fast food places, this popped up. The food was great! I got the Southern Omelet with a side of grits and a biscuit. It was definitely homemade cooking. I highly recommend you visit this diner. You better bring cash though, that's all they take. (ATM inside)"

"Been wanting to try this place for a bit, and this past Sunday was the day. Lots of great specials for reasonable prices, and I settled in the country-style steak. Others in the party had hamburger steak and chicken and pastry. However, once we saw the collard sandwich advertised, I ordered one for an appetizer for us to split. All of it was awesome, but the collard sandwich stood out, with delicious collards and country ham layered between some tasty cornbread slabs. Whew, doggy! Next time, I'm just getting a couple of those for lunch! Might be our new favorite place!"

"Today my work sent me out to this area and we were recommended by someone and let me say it was very amazing food and service. Especially for the price it was amazing. It might look it is old and ran down from the outside but don’t let that deceive you at all. If I ever come back to the area and am hungry I will definitely will be back and have already told my coworkers about this place."

"I just moved here and so I getting to know the area. Its hard to find a place open on Monday. I found this place on Google. Don't let the outside of the building deter you from going here. I walked in was greeted by smiling people. My Dad and I had a wonderful good old country lunch. Going to have to go back and try their breakfast. I hope it is as good as their fried porkchop. The price was great and included a drink! Just remember they are cash only, but they do have an ATM there."
