Coach's Neighborhood Grill Cheraw

"We live 60 miles north of Cheraw in NC and had a nephew visiting 60 miles south so looking at a map, this place was right in the middle for all of us to meet. We've also been to other Coach's locations and the food has always been good. And, once again, the service was excellent with a very attentive waitress. The food, a couple burgers, order of wings, and fried pickles were all good. I am leaving a 2-star review for one reason. When the $110 bill arrived, I gave it a quick glance and handed her my debit card. She processed it and returned it for the tip and signature. At this point, I realized the bill was now $113. I glanced back over it and to my shock, the establishment charged me a $3 non-cash adjustment or credit card fee. I know this is a typical policy for purchases under $10 which I am okay with. But, for a restaurant to charge a patron an extra $3 on a bill in excess of $100 is extremely tacky. I hope Coach's uses my $3 well because they will never see another dime from me."

"First time at the establishment, and I was very impressed. The food was fantastic and scrumptious. The grilled chicken and homemade mash potatoes were delicious. The garden salad was fresh and delicious. The service was good. There was only one waitress, but she did a good job. It's sad that there are jobs available and some people don't want to work. The atmosphere was pleasant. If you're into sports, this establishment ambiance focuses on the major football teams. It's decorated with football helmets and walls outlined with the sports teams. Overall it's a unique establishment and worth the visit. I will be visiting again."

"Been coming here since it opened. Conveniently located and good food with great wait staff and manager! We had Whitney today as our server and she was enthusiastic, polite, hardworking, and attentive as always. All the servers we've had there have been great. The manager is always there on site and visits with you regularly to check on you and make sure you're having a good experience. The food is consistently good. The burgers and steaks are great and the New Orleans pasta is phenomenal too. They are always looking to try new things and add menu items to improve the experience and serve their customers. Just found out today they are starting to offer breakfast Sundays from 6a-10a dine-in or carry-out, which is fantastic because Cheraw doesn't have many restaurants serving breakfast. Can't wait to try it!"

"First time trying the food at this newly open restaurant. I order the BLT which came on wheatberry bread, however the bread was a little greasy. My sandwich was not warm and neither were the fries. I also got the pretzels bites, which were a little greasy and the cheese was not your normal cheese you get with pretzel bites. I was a little disappointed. The tea is great and the customer service is lovely. I would recommend if this fits your taste buds."
