"Read about this cute little place on my email from "Only in SC," and knew I had to try it. A friend and I went on a Friday, and she and I had the lunch special - a pork chop, two sides, a cornbread fritter and tea. We also could not resist the six layer caramel cake for dessert! We loved the food, and I bought a large container of their delicious chicken salad to go. It really is some of the best I have ever had, and the next time I visit, will buy it again, plus a container of their pimento cheese. The three ladies who work here were so sweet and friendly, and the cute little renovated building on Ruby's Main Street is spotlessly clean. Loved having lunch here and cannot wait to return!"

"There is a large dining area that is clean and comfortable. Plate lunchs with meat and vegetable. I had pork chops. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The Ice Cream shop was very good, also."

"The Absolute Best Chicken Salad Sandwich I have ever tasted! Everyone in our trail ride group got something different and everything was fresh and delicious! So glad I stopped here for lunch after a nice trail ride with friends. It was my first time but definitely not my last! We loved it so much that after finishing our lunch I decided to purchase extra food to take home for supper, almost $100 dollars worth of extras if that tells you anything and again everything was amazing so tasty worth every penny! Fast and friendly service with a smile!"

"Great food and people. They have daily specials. Everyday the have chicken salad, pimento, cheese, fresh green salads. Never had a bad meal. the chicken sald abd barbecue are the best around. Susan's desserts and cakes are the bomb, especially the cupcakes. They even have ice cream. Check out their banana splits. JJ is the master at making them. They have grab and go meals and casseroles to take home for easy meals. They do catering as well! They have an awesome gift area with local foods (honey and grits), crafts and baskets!
