The main drawback is that seating is generally unavailable inside, so I recommend taking your meal to the farmers market across the street for a more comfortable dining experience."

"My friend, who grew up in ETown, always talked about this famous landmark. Happy to finally make it there. As we anticipated, there was a line, but just like all other posts, the line moves pretty quickly and your order is bagged up in less than a minute. I opted for the cheeseburger, "all the way" and my friend had both a cheeseburger and hot dog. The hamburgers are medium-sized, and 1 may not fill you up. The only thing I wish is that they had french fries instead of chips to go with your burger. But other than that, I'm glad I got to experience Melvin's! Note: I had to take a photo of the NO Tip sign...you don't see that anywhere else...first class!"

"First time at the Famous Melvin’s. Menu is simple, food is tasty and hot. Got a dog and a burger, all the way. Loved the slaw, and should have asked for extra chilly it was so good. Hot dog was tender, and the burger had that wonderful flattop crust but not overdone. Ate inside and watched a crazy long line form and be served quickly. Definitely worth a stop if in the neighborhood. Don’t let a line out the door stop you."
