"To our surprise, this was not a BBQ place. However, what a great location! Away from the beaten path and an atmosphere taking us back in time. Good selection of beer, best fried green tomatoes and pickles spears I've had nearby so far! The brisket sandwich was good and the service was excellent."

Took my mom there & she had the chicken Philly cheesesteak w/fries, I had the shrimp burrito w/salad.. portions were perfect and food was delicious. "Wow! Fun little spot wayyyyyyyy off the map! Navigated here one evening on the way to an adventure filled weekend and really glad we stopped. The atmosphere and decorations were pretty nice and the food was good! An eclectic mix of food from diner style to Mexican to some unique dishes and it was allll wonderful. The real special treat - the margaritas! Looks good upon delivery and feels great going down! I may have to return to see what else Van Wych has in store!"
