"I wish I would've read the reviews before I called this place geek's they are not unprofessional they are I called geeksquad to get help with some wifi camera installation on September 20 I had to pay 129.99 before they would schedule me for an appointment I should've known then it was scthey the guy showed up to my home on Oct rtist4 and was not knowledgeable about what he's was about to do long story short the guy left my house with the cameras not working and know I'm getting the run around about getting my money back customers beware stay away from these scam artists no one gives you their real name and will not let you speak to a manager"
"I wish I could give them 0 stars. I brought my iPhone there for repair. I told the guy that I had an appointment, but he was so rude and asked me the time and checked the digital board to see if I could find my name on there. And then, he let me on the line to repair. Another guy who checked my iPhone was not friendly either, and also, he was not professional at all. I decided to get back my iPhone and bring it to a repair service in an apple store in Charlotte. I completely wasted my time. I usually bring my iPhone to Apple Stores. Technicians in Apple Stores are very friendly and well knowledgeable, unlike the guy in Greek Squad, Rock Hill. Don't bring any apple items to Greek Squad, Rock Hill!"
"I was on hold for 45 min. The person I spoke too transferred me to someone else who still couldn't answer my question. Then recommended me to call HP. Whats the point of Geek Squad if they can answer a simple question?"
"Check around if you don't get the answer you want. Over the summer my husband and I went into Best Buy to have my laptop looked at by the Geek Squad. The screen would flicker white/no picture unless the screen was positioned in a specific spot. The guy who helped us was courteous and polite, but the answer we got was it wouldn't be worth our time to fix the computer, we would be better off putting the money we would have spent in repairs on a new computer. He couldn't give us a direct quote, but estimated repair costs being over $500. We didn't have the money to sink into a new computer (well over $1,000 for what I would have wanted and what I paid for my current computer when I first purchased it), we would just have to deal with the computer and save up money to buy a new one. On a whim, my husband took my computer to an acquaintance who works on computers locally recently as the computer was getting worse, could barely get the screen to work and with Christmas coming up, it still wasn't in the budget to get a new one. My computer was fixed for $100. The part to fix it was $50, the other part of the cost was for labor. Long story short...if Geek Squad tries to tell you it's going to cost a ridiculous amount of money to fix a computer that seems to have a simple problem...check around with the local shops for a second opinion."
"Randall was the person who saved my sanity today! He is so patient and focused that he imparts a calming effect. The problem was just a hidden screen but because I am relearning Excel and was in a panic I never thought to look at that possibility. Fortunately he did and was able to recover all my hard work. He has helped me before and I am always glad to see him behind the counter."
