"Great experience here. Very professional, great communication, reasonable prices and timely service. They replaced my heater core and serviced my transmission in a 2014 TDI. I would bring my car back here for work in the future."
"Just wanted to share my experiences with the all the staff at DJs MotorWerks in Easley S.C. I bought a 1966 bug almost a year ago. My wife and I drove to Niagara falls N.Y. to get this bug. As we all no that they are getting a bug is difficult to find. The owner told it needed nothing, I know I should have ran in the other direction. But something told me to proceed. I got the bug for a fair price not cheap mind you but fair. Little back ground on me I was stationed in Germany for most of the 80s as a tank mech. I have owned many bugs from the time I was 16 to now at 66. I brought home from Germany a 54 oval which I sold in 1992 when I purchased some land. BIG MISTAKE. so from 1992 to 2022 NO BUG. I am now a retired professional custom furniture builder. When I got the 66 home I noticed a noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel pulled the wheel off and noticed that the axle had been cut (someone installed the long axles ) So I pulled the transaxle and took it to DJs and had them go through it and replace the axles and reseal the transaxle, they also found a cracked shifting fork and rebuilt the back brakes, a job well done shifts and stops like new. So while everything was out ie engine and transaxle I proceeded with cleaning and replacing anything and everything I could get my hands on. I was gonna do a top end rebuild on the motor. The case must at sometime in its life sat on the ground. the bottom was just crumbling like rotten wood. So I found a nice case, the guys at DJs line bored it and installed case savers. So Im getting the car back together and I get a call from a prior customer That wanted a solid piece of walnut furniture. I told him I was not building anything but made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So with my bug almost back together new motor running but I haven't drove it yet. And looming in my future is my second heart surgery (which is now scheduled for November 8th of this year ) my back was against the wall. Woodworking and working on cars don't mix, you can't get your ands dirty than touch raw wood the finish would never stick. So this is where I really want to thank the guys at DJs, One for putting up with my ability to talk too much. and two I loaded up the bug and all the parts I haven't got to and they finished it up for me. It was very humbling to say the least. But they jumped in got the bug on its feet ( wheels) and finished it up so I could drive it and enjoy it a little before summers end, finish the furniture job I had in my shop and my Heart surgery. I just can't tell you How much it meant to me. They got my car back on the road so i could deliver my job and now proceed with my surgery next month. Listen people, DJs is the real deal. Sorry for the long review, believe me I could go on and on, this is the short version. They are Honest, Fair, and very reasonable to say the least and have the same passion as we do. Everybody in bug land say a prayer for me on November 8th. When it is time get your VW repaired take it to DJs, like they say Water or Air they don't care. Thanks Guys"
"Awesome shop! Helpful, and honest. Fixed the issues we had with a '77 standard beetle and it's running better than I'd hoped. Extremely satisfied!"
"Got our newly purchased 1974 Super Beetle running like new. Went above and beyond to give us great service. Would recommend for service of air-cooled VW’s for sure."
