"Stewart’s Tavern has the best BBQ in town their Brisket has a well smoked flavor and is very juicy. I also appreciate how you can ask for a more lean portion of brisket or a center cut. The sausage hands down is one of my favorite go to sandwich’s the flavor is absolutely out of this world and paired with the green peppers and onions on a potato bun that is toasted brings it all together. Stewart’s does not serve burnt ends and never has but with the variety of food options they have you’re not missing out!"

"found this place less than an hour to closing time. food was STILL good and delicious. Had a nice variety of beer on tap and not the usual bud/Coors/shock top group. Molly was just as friendly as if she had just started her shift. She said they'd been open almost 2 months. can't wait to go back when the full menu is open since the kitchen was 'closed"."

"The owners of Stewart's are doing something right! slow cooked/smoked ribs are selling out almost every night! The food was so delicious I forgot to take photos of it! Order at the back and find a seat. The casual, laid -back atmosphere is perfect here with just the right amount of cozy. A large table in the middle of the restaurant is perfect for bigger groups or family style seating. The bar seating is for 18 and older. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were all very genuinely kind. Service was quick Greatness is in the details. They included toddler steps in the bathroom, menus when you walk in so you can look while you are waiting. The restaurant is very well decorated and laid out. Bar tenders were kind and friendly all service at the bar was quick. The banana pudding and pie/cake of the day looked delicious, but I was too full to try more."

"The atmosphere of this new downtown Raeford is very classy with a touch of a late night blue collar. That's the best way to describe the great place. The dark tones and hardwood floors give a great atmosphere while you enjoy great southern food. FOOTNOTE: Cornbread was absolutely awesome with a classic recipe actually containing corn kernels. Banana Pudding seemed to be from scratch as well NOT with instant pudding."

"In just 1 week, I’ve been back to Stewart’s Tavern 3 times. Each time, the food was equally as delicious. I’ve had the Mac and cheese bowl with brisket, nachos, and the brisket sandwich. Each entry was delicious. Their sides complement the entrees well. Portion sizes were more than plenty. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I’m excited to have a delicious, family friendly restaurant in downtown Raeford. Can’t wait to come back!"
