"I like going to Ross for its variety and new clothes. I am always finding what I like. The reason I choose 3 stars is because there is a white lady (thin hair and on the heavy side) that works there who seems to not like people of color. A hispanic couple was browsing through a section and she rudely walked in front of them without saying excuse me. While checking out, I got her as my cashier. She didn’t greet me at all and when placing the clothes in the bags, she later rudely slammed the bags on the counter. People like her shouldn’t be working customer service."

"Great selection and prices but attitudes abound at this Monroe, NC store among their employees.. it's a nasty experience if you need their help or they disagree with you about anything that may come up while in that store.. finding another store to shop"

"Love getting clothes from the store itself but the employees are rude every time. My mother and I were in the store around noon today doing a little shopping since I have a vacation soon. I needed to try on some pants and the woman working the fitting room area was extremely rude to another customer because she wasn’t following the “rules” on hanging her clothes on the rack for the camera before she walked away. The customer received a “Whatever.” and major attitude from the employee! I felt bad for her! The associate then continued to talk to my mother about the lady! The employee was ranting about the womans skin color and where she came from. My mother had to walk away along with my baby because she felt uncomfortable. I was thankful the employee was no longer there when I got out of the dressing room."

"I've always been a die hard Ross fan, ever since I discovered them in Florida. But I have to say NC.'s Ross stores selection is nothing like Florida. I would find the best clothes and home goods in Florida. That is a down side for me here in Charlotte. However, once in awhile you can get lucky and find something good. Just not as easy as one experienced with Ross before. If you've never been to Ross, you are missing out as a whole. Because you can find items much more affordable here."
