"Many years in business and I stopped in on a Wednesday at 3 and there were still customers and excellent service and friendly and hard working staff! I missed the lunch special by being late myself but ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions and they said pick 3 veggies and I did pick mashed potatoes, limas, and fried okra and cornbread. All were so good I ordered the vegetable soup and it was great also! Exactly... in business for so many years and so many loyal customers you will not be disappointed!"

"After getting our vaccine shot this morning my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast. We don't live around Monroe so we had to search a bit. Jud's came up with high marks, and it looked like the kind of place that we like. A local diner that's been around a long time. It sure didn't disappoint! They have a pretty wide selection of food, and the prices are very reasonable. We went with some basics. My wife had 3 pancakes and bacon, and I had 3 French toast with bacon. At $4.99 each, it is a great deal. Both meals were perfect, and the wait staff were all friendly and attentive. They've apparently been around since 1952, so they obviously know how to keep their customers happy. I would highly recommend Jud's for anyone in the Monroe area. We'll definitely be back the next time we are near."
