Rosati's Pizza

"One thing that quickly noticed when moving to Charlotte was the lack of “Midwest Pizza”. I missed the food from my region. The pizza was great. Many people in these parts don’t know the difference between Chicago deep dish and the others, I’m not a deep dish fan. I ordered double crust and it was great just like back home. I wish that it were more places to sit inside. My family couldn’t eat in because it weren’t any tables available in the small dining area. I would like to get this pizza fresh out the oven one day and not drive it back home for 20 minutes. Good stuff though."

"The deep dish pizza was amazing! We got the 14” with pepperoni and sausage, and man, what a pizza! So good! We also got the zeppole which was their fried dough squares (like beignets) that you dip in a chocolate sauce. It’s a bit pricey but you get enough for around 4 people. Also so good, just be prepared to loosen your pants! Will definitely be adding this to my families favorites list of places to eat in Charlotte. My only real “complaint” would be lack of indoor seating. It’s set up to be mostly a take out place so there are only about 3 tables inside. Other than that, it’s a great place to eat at!"

"Outstanding experience!!! We drive almost 2 hours for this pizza and have always had a good experience. Today we arrived earlier then their opening and the staff was kind enough to let us order and pay when the register was online. We. Had an extra large double dough with pepperoni and sausage that reminds us of our time in Chicago. We also got the Italian beef to go and will have dinner tomorrow night with that. If you’ve never had the Italian Beef before I recommend it with the hot giardiniera."

"Save yourself the trouble, it’s easily one of the worst places I’ve ever been. Ordered delivery because they were offering free delivery for orders over $25. Entered the promo code and then was still charged a delivery fee for a delivery that took over an hour beyond the original 1hr ETA. Once arrived, all the wings were cold (1lb equaled 6 wings?), all the sauce was spilled over to one side, the pizza was soggy, and all the cheese had hardened from getting cold. The pizza with toppings had essentially all toppings piled in the middle. Not worth the headache and not even close to worth the price."

"Was craving a deep dish pizza and this seemed to be the only game in town so gave them a try. While the food was eh overall, it definitely wasn't a true deep dish. From looking at the pictures in the reviews, this Rosati's location seems to be using the thin crust base and just molding it to have high crust walls like a deep dish pizza. Not sure this is how other locations are doing it but upon inspection of the reviews for other locations in NC and Chicagoland, their deep dish pizza looks completely different from what I received here."
