"This place is delicious :) My boyfriend and I sat at the bar, Haley was our bartender, and she was amazing! She was a delight to talk to and made the dinner more enjoyable! The lamb was beyond amazing! I got the lolipop appetizer and the meal, but used the sauce from the lamb appetizer on my lamb meal. I would definitely come back and sit at the bar so I could have another wonderful experience with great food and magical service! ✨️"
"This was my first time at this restaurant, and my boyfriend took me here as a surprise romantic dinner (he would later propose that night). Food was absolutely delicious! The BEST lollipop lamb chop I have ever had in my entire life. The cherry sauce that they put on it was BEYOND delicious. I will say - we waited a long time for our food. When we asked our server what is taking so long and where is our food, (my fiancé ordered the pork chop) the server said the kitchen burned the first one and they had to make a 2nd one for him, but we were almost sitting for an hour before we were told that. Being a server myself, I told him to not get upset because it is not the servers error. It was a Friday night and they were very crowded. Which does bring me to my next comment. The seating arrangement inside could be more spacious. I'm not one for bench seating that hosts multiple tables. It is quite uncomfortable, tight, and when I got up to use the restroom I feel as though my buttocks was in someone's face. I wish we were able to eat outside, but we weren't sure with the weather (it was a rainy weekend) and there were parties I believe already sat. Drinks are quite strong. My fiance didn't feel well 1/2 way in to his 2nd. I forgot what he ordered (this was all back in October). I loved the decor. It was elegance met modern. If we are to visit Blue Ridge again, Black Sheep will definitely be on our menu that visit. I've been dreaming of that lollipop!! No pictures of the engagement (or ring) but I did post pictures of that DELICIOUS and UNFORGETTABLE Lamb Lollipop!"
"We went for Sunday brunch around 1pm and the restaurant was full but the energy was off. When we walked in, no one was talking and the only noise was the house music, which is weird for this kind of a place. Also all of the servers seemed rushed and uncomfortable throughout the entire meal. The “mimosa” was maybe two ounces and served in a large red wine glass and the salad I ordered came with bacon instead of prosciutto and was so overdressed it was hard to eat. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. Downtown Blue Ridge doesn’t have a ton of restaurant options but it’s been a while since I’ve wanted to leave so quickly from a table."
"It was a great experience. We went to Blue Ridge for my wife's birthday, this is where she wanted her birthday dinner, of 7 (three of them being our children). The atmosphere outside was a nice ambiance, only down side, when we was there it was cold, and the heaters don't heat up as much. Other than that the food was delicious, the drinks were nice and tasty. Would definitely return"
"The food was alright but I have had better quality. The time it took to get the food was well over an hour for a party of 2. The atmosphere was nice, I did like the feel of the southern charm but to my surprise, the people weren't all that friendly. I left feeling more that we were in the way of the staff than thoroughly enjoying our dinner. Upon leaving, I asked the person I was with and even she had said she wasn't impressed."
