"My wife and I dine here every year on our anniversary. The breakfast is always amazing and always more than enough. My only issue is the breakfast syrup. With such great food like the alpine French toast or amazing waffle it just falls short with the smuckers breakfast syrup. I personally believe a true maple syrup would be so much better than something made of high fructose corn syrup and artificial coloring. It’s like putting a bumper sticker on a Ferrari. Syrup aside this place is amazing and I would still highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice breakfast or fresh doughnuts and other fresh baked items. If you prefer fresh meats this place has it all and you will not be disappointed. We will continue to dined here any time we are in town."

"Excellent experience! The food was great and affordable, the staff were very friendly and were on top of it. Also, there was literally a line out the building for seating when we walked up but they pushed the entire line through in about 15 minutes so the wait was not bad at all for the amount of people trying to eat there. We had the German biscuits and gravy and they were great. I would strongly suggest having breakfast here!"

"Well worth the long wait to eat at this place. While waiting, we ordered donuts, apple fritters, and cannolis to go-they were delicious. Service was great. We ordered biscuits and gravy, strawberry Belgian waffles, and bacon onion hashbrowns with an egg on top. One of the absolute best places to eat breakfast in Helen. You won't be disappointed!!"

The German omelette with sausage and egg was also a winner - it was tasty, fresh and had a great balance of flavors. "Fun breakfast/lunch place! Get there early as there can be a long wait. If you do have to wait they a fresh bakery with new cakes goods constantly coming out! Also lots of German sausage and dry goods to choose from as well. The staff was very nice and made sure the kids meal came out fast! Very fluffy eggs as well. Limited parking out back but there is more space up the road if needed."
