"Saw this shop traveling through North Carolina on the way to Georgia and had to stop. Cool little indy shop! Looked around at a really good inventory of new and used parts for older bikes. Dave, the owner, started chatting with us and we ended up turning a 5 minute stop into nearly an hour after finding out we both are in to the same stuff. Bought a couple parts at a really good price, walked out in the shop to see what was being worked on and met Jeff, the mechanic at Backstreet Iron. Talked to him a bit and had to get back on the road. Great, personable people, including the lovely lady that greeted us (Dave's wife maybe?) Nice little shop, good selection, good pricing, and they work on the older bikes like myself back in Iowa. Glad to see the passion is still there for some of us!"
