Las Margaritas

"This is definitely a place to stop while you are in this area. My wife enjoyed steak fajitas while I had the monster chimichanga. Unbelievably good food. This was the best chimichanga I have ever had in my life. Our server was very friendly and the place was very clean. We also got to watch the goldfish swim through the window while we ate. There was so much food that my wife took home a large portion of her meal and ended up making five meals out of it. Their portions are large and a good deal for the money. We will be returning here!"

"WOW!! We could tell that this was a place where Mexicans would come for authentic food. The menu was unique and reasonably priced. With items like roasted giant jalapeño peppers, cactus, and pan-fried cheese, our tastebuds were dancing. The complimentary salsa and chips that were brought to our table were appreciated. The chips were hearty enough to easily scoop the salsa without breaking. Nice. The atmosphere needs attention, but the food stole the show! We ordered the meal for two and brought ⅔ of it home. The guacamole was fresh and scrumptious. We arrived at approximately 4pm and were leaving at about 5:15, just as a party of 50 arrived! Thank you for the smiles and great service, Berenice!"

"All the food was good. Salsa was ok but good in different way. Our friends got monster chimichanga, and the steak was very good and tender. He said it was all good. And our other friend got enchilada rancheros and she said it was really good. We got the tacos (deep-fried shells), and the hamburger meat was bland. But it was all good and if we lived here we would go back. They also do a military discount. The young lady at the register was so friendly and kind and had a sweet smile."

"My wife and I were amazed by the quality of the food here. We'd visited Cashiers several years ago when this place was called the Randevu (or something like that) We were worried when we saw it was now Las Margaritas. But we finally went in, and we both honestly felt this was the best Mexican food we'd ever had! We go out often, and our favorite is typically Mexican, so we've had our fair share of a variety Mexican restaurants at home and away. I had the Monster Chimichanga; it was so very good. Wife had cheese enchiladas and mushroom quesadilla. She loved it, and said their red sauce was the best she's ever had. Chips and salsa were very good, also had an excellent taco salad. I highly recommend Las Margaritas if you're a fan of Mexican food, or just good food in general."

"Authentic Mexican restaurant run by a hardworking family. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. In addition to the indoor space there is an outdoor covered patio overlooking a pond with koi and turtles. Attention of staff was impeccable - every few minutes they would pop up asking if everything was ok. Ordered Pollo Yucateca with shrimp - the seasoning is just as you would get in the Yucatan and chicken and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back on the next trip to Cashiers."
