The service was exceptional, Gillian took great care of our table, she was very welcoming, quick to help, checked on us regularly and was great with recommendations giving us a wonderful experience! She recommended the Porch Burger and my oh my was she spot on, it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a sports bar with a welcoming and comfortable experience with superb service!"

"Stopped in to the bar to watch the playoff game between the Chiefs and Dolphins. Had a great time, the staff was awesome, and the food was great. It was fun to interact with the other patrons, very friendly atmosphere. Everyone there makes you feel welcome like family. I’d highly recommend this place."

"What an amazing find! On a recent visit to Asheville we happened upon The Village Porch and are we glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by Megan as soon as we entered and despite the busy time we were quickly seated. Megan made some suggestions for us yo think about while we looked over the menu which we really appreciated. In short order, Amber, our server came by and made us feel like old friends. We ordered drinks and appetizers to get started left to ponder the rest of the menu. The beers were cold and the Truffle Oil Tots were the best we had ever had. I could go on about the entire meal but the Wild Caught Salmon was the highlight. Cooked to perfection, do moist and flavorful it reminded me of Alaska. Needless to say, we will be back."

"I think their food is really yummy, my husband and our grandson must feel the same way as they've gone there nearly every week for several months. Last time they asked me if I wanted anything and I requested honey BBQ wings, 10 of them. They were so dry I didn't enjoy them at all so I called and complained, no yelling or screaming! After I explained it to the kitchen manager (I think) she said thanks for letting me know...that was it?! I went on to say that any restaurant with good customer service would offer a replacement. She finally said she would and the next time my husband came in he could pick them up, so he did. When he spoke with her, the first thing she said she remembered was offering 10% off my next order? Never said anything like that...finally she agreed she'd replace my order which she did not do as I ordered 10 wings which she replaced with 6. (They were really tasty!!) I don't where she go her customer service training (maybe she didn't?) but I'm a nurse, my husband an engineer, I don't need to lie to get a few wings. My husband didn't need to be questioned, the whole thing was ridiculous and I will never go there again nor ask for my husband to bring me anything! What a way to treat customers, especially ones who come regularly!!"
