"This has to be the worst run Dairy Queen within the Asheville, NC area. The people that work there are rude!! Plus they never have chocolate ice cream. I just got a medium ice cream cone for my grandson yesterday and it was great. Today 3-8-2023 I take him and got half the size of yesterday and every other time I have gotten him one. Even at other locations you get more than what he got today. Which the location where I live is awesome and always have all the things on the menu. Won’t be going back. I doubt there was even a1/2 cup of ice cream."
"Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced; if I could rate this location zero stars I would. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker at 5pm on a Sunday. There were no other vehicles in the drive thru line. Nobody greeted me. After a few minutes of sitting at the speaker I said “hello”. The employee responded she needed one minute. After a minute she greets me and I start to place my order. I ordered a moo latte and after she asks me what size she tells me they don’t have moo lattes. I proceed with my order and ask for a take five blizzard. She asked me multiple times to repeat myself even though I was speaking clearly and spoke louder each time she asked me to repeat myself. All while ordering I could hear a guy yelling in the background. After ordering the blizzard I let her know that was the entire order. She didn’t say anything and we continued to wait at the speaker. We ultimately decided to leave and as we were driving around the building two people stuck their heads out the window (the girl taking my order and some kid in street clothes) and the employee yelled something to the extent of “I don’t care bitch”. Please chat with this employee as she clearly needs some additional training on customer service and respect. This happened on January 15, 2023."
"All I can say is this!!!!! It wascan amazing place to visit...the facilities were amiculet and the story about the Pony Express was so cool...."
"After having a bad experience on the way to the beach with the Canton NC location, we decided to give it another shot. Coming back from the beach on June 15 2020 we stopped here. They said they open at 10 but the building looked dark and no one in sight. We decided to try the drive through. We puleld up at 10:14. Tried to order two fries, the guy at the mic seemed a little ditsy we had to repeat stuff several times. He told us they couldnt do fries because they have to turn the fryers on and warm up. Mind you this is 14 minutes after they opened. We told him we would wait on it. Proceeded to order some blizzards etc. One of the blizzards he rang up as a shake but we took it anyway, although it looked like chocolate milk with cookie chunks. I got 2 sides of gravy that looked like they had been sitting i dont know how long. I had to peel a layer off the top of it to get to the runny part of the gravy, and it still tasted horrible. This was the 2nd bad experience within a week of two NC Dairy Queens. Perhaps the district manager needs to pay a little more attention to their stores. Oh and we got a coke that tasted like poo didnt even taste like coke. This seems to be a common problem of Dairy Queen!"
"So wanted to take the family out for ice cream. We had been to biltmore house all day and wanted to get some ice cream before we go to the hotel for the evening upon arrival we get out of the car and see this on the door due to staffing we are closed and when I ask the employees next door about it they told me that there was 4 people over there including the manager and the manager had just shut the doors and they were only open one hour this is so sad."
