"Simply, I found this place very underwhelming. Expensive for the food quality provided. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast which doesn’t include any meat option. I got a single sausage patty with the side order. Starting with that, the sausage was anything special, not flavorful, not unique. The potatoes advertised as home fries, were potato wedges, tasted like they were stale or reheated, and somehow still firm and undercooked as well as under seasoned. They looked they were covered in seasoning and could barely even taste the salt. The eggs claimed to be cage free but were bright yellow and also lacking flavor. The biscuit taste identical to a store bought tube package. And the orange juice was full of pulp, which I don’t mind, but gives guest the impression it’s freshly squeezed, however it taste very store bought/ with concentrate. The star of the show was the jam from Imladris farm. That was some good stuff."

"One of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a long time! The food was very creative and amazingly fresh and tasty! The service was absolutely impeccable! The atmosphere was very light and inviting!! Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Asheville!"

"Other than not being very welcoming and ghost service, I enjoyed my meal. I had the Cinnamon, Apple and Bacon Biscuit French - which is a local specialty. It was delicious but the biscuits were a tad dry. It took a while for a server to greet me and once I had my food, I never saw her again. I'd probably pass this over on my next visit. *** Carmels Food was decent; service was lacking. This restaurant was in close proximity to my hotel so quite convenient for a quick bite. I had the watermelon salad which was delicious and the fried green tomatoes were average."

"Fantastic! Breakfast spots in this area typically get slammed, but this one handled the rush well. The coffee is strong, which I like, and the food is great. Try the fried chicken! It's a great spot and parking isn't too bad, highly recommended."
