"An art seldom found in '23. One of the finest dining experiences within 2 hours of home requires little choice. Sit down, enjoy their four course dinner, menu items you can't pronounce, and service fit for the avant-bourgeois. Before I get to the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is dark, it's romantic, it's basically candlelit with adjustable dimmer lights. Yes, they thought of that. The restaurant comes on a clip-board, it's thick stock paper, typewriter font. Stamp of approval, with the clear chose at the bottom. Pick the tasting menu, let you and your date go on a culinary adventure with all of the appetizers and a divine desert to share. The hostess comes over, she welcomes you into the kitchen (figuratively). She has perfect knowledge over the menu. How it should be. She will clean off your table after each course, she will replace your silverware, she will make sure that there is no visual artifact that will bar you from the perfect dining experience this night. This is Michelin star level service, they watch you from afar, taking care of your needs and you deserve it, at least for tonight. Them the food comes, each dish seemingly designed from the bottom-up, huge thought into the taste profile and intensity. There isn't a dish that is 'tasteless', they all incorporate all of the colors of the flavor palette: crunch, spice, well seasoned, umami, moistness, temperature. A few years ago, this was my introduction into fine dining, and 'til today, it has still held up. The bread was pillow soft, each of the vegetable dishes are as crisp as it were plucked from the garden out back. The cabbage dish turned a cheap vegetable into a nigh crispy noodle. Cheesy out the hallows, you taste rich, sharpness of the many cheeses you'll get tonight. Repeat what I said for the rest of their appetizers. They keep every dish mind-blowing. Nothing is as it seems, the ingredients are performing in a play, perfectly executing their new found role given by Cucina 24. To the hot dishes, the Gorgonzola was so good, I needed clarification, an explanation. This was unnatural, the textures, the alien flavors of cheese, it's unknown, unfound, untouched for the mere peasant. The mains came out, they were perfectly cooked, duck breast so tender, pork suckling that fell apart. Both adjusted the side vegetables to match, it's a symphony, consistent with the rest of dinner. And then the dessert arrives, ask for the check, you see the bill. You don't even question if the number was worth it. Would you really get a better experience from any two other separate experiences? This was special. If you want special, if you want to expand your taste buds, let this kitchen feed you."

"Ok…. So I never complement Italian restaurants… I’m picky… spent a lot of time living in Italy and skilled family chefs. Im always shocked how delicious Cucina 24 is! I’m happy to return whenever I’m Asheville. For example the shrimp rigatoni clearly used a shrimp stock in the spicy sauce… wasn’t just a few shrimp thrown in pasta. Delicate flavors. Nicely done. A gem and true taste of how good Italian can be…. Not the “tourist Italian” food most places serve up. I love it here."

"Decided to try this restaurant after finding it listed on Garden and Guns top 25 list along with some of my other favorite restaurants. It did not disappoint from the fresh salads and bread to the homemade pastas and amazing desserts. Highly recommend."

"Delicious food! My boyfriend LOVED the lamb there and I had chickpeas pasta which tasted great too. The bread was "dank" lol. low light ambiance. The rusty nail drink was also yummy to him. Would go back again. Romantic vibe. Upscale place."
