"I called the Clyde store needing a part for our clothes dryer. Got an answering machine for parts and service which advised me to leave a message for a service appointment which I did not need. So I hung up, called back, and let the phone system direct me to what I assumed would be the operator. Instead it sent me to the sales department. The lady who picked up the phone made it most apparent that she was annoyed with me for calling sales. She did not even give me an opportunity to speak and explain WHY I was calling before she as trying to transfer me right back to where I had just called. Normally I would have called her on her abrupt anger with a customer but I as honestly shocked. I had heard so many wonderful things about Haywood Appliance and how helpful they were. I just hung up. Needless to say neither I nor anyone in my family will ever darken their door with our business. First impressions mean allot folks!!"
"Buy your appliances here!! We bought a Fridgedaire induction stove at Lowe's last August. The front glass panel broke and even though it was still under manufacturers warranty, neither Lowe's or Fridgedaire would repair it. Fridgedaire did offer a refund in full, but our stove was discontinued and Lowe's did not know when they would have a suitable replacement in stock. So having a refund, but no oven and a big empty space in the kitchen did not sound inviting. Enter the heroes at Haywood appliances! Although they were under no obligation to help us at all, they contacted their rep, got the replacement glass sent to us, and had their installer put it in. After months of not having a working oven, we are back in business. And forever grateful for the help. From now on, we buy our appliances from Haywood!"
"We had an ongoing problem with our Thermador refrigerator that turned out to have a manufacturing defect…The service team at Haywood did an amazing job working on our behalf, initially to try and fix the problem but ultimately to help us get a replacement appliance. I can’t say enough good things about their dedication toward solving our problem. Very happy."
"Purchased a new microwave. The delivery team consisted of 3 guys. The eldest (and team leader) made painstaking measurements to ensure that the NEW holes he had to drill inside the cabinet would match the corresponding support hardware on the microwave. The other two guys were attentive and supportive, retrieving the needed tools throughout the installation process, but also contributed to the removal of the old microwave. The new microwave was gently lifted into place by the two assistants. NOTE: Many times, serviceMEN and installers will assume that women clients are somehow below their experience level, or that women are ignorant of the installer’s (obvious) work ethics and performances. As an older woman, I OBSERVED and questioned several things throughout this installation process. Two of the three servicemen/installers were very cordial and professional in their demeanors and in answering my questions. The youngest of the three was obviously in a learning position but also was not allowed to “practice” during this installation. Because of a few really bad experiences we’ve had with other companies and installers for other equipment, and who were below par, unprofessional, and brought younger employees to “practice” with our purchases, we have had to stop the entire installation process and return our purchases. OR, we’ve had to demand that a different group of contractors/installers come to REPAIR the mess that the first group made. Rest assure ladies, HAYWOOD APPLIANCE will take care of you in the most efficient, professional, and proficient ways. It is always a pleasure to have HAYWOOD APPLIANCE take care of us from the sale to the installation. HAYWOOD APPLIANCE employs in-house installers and does not hire risky outside contractors. We’ve used HAYWOOD APPLIANCE for many years and will continue to count on them."

We appreciate it even more since we've been without an oven and microwave for 6 weeks! The guys did a great job and were polite and fun.
