"Wow, my first time in Gatlinburg so far absolutely incredible! I have to admit, I was a little scared by those narrow roads with a 300 feet drop, but it definitely added to the excitement! Oh, by the way, I got a bit distracted. As soon as we arrived, my team of six was famished! Our place was so far away, but luckily we decided to use DoorDash. We all voted for BBQ, and we ended up ordering from the amazing Hungry Bear. I honestly didn't have high expectations for the food, but boy was I wrong! We ordered the brisket, the pork, the sausage, the brownie, and some other delicious dishes that I can't quite remember right now. The food was absolutely amazing, and the flavor was so incredible that it was like a party in my mouth! I highly recommend this place to everyone."

"Great BBQ in a scenic town. Very much worth the stop. The ribs were good. The green beans were on point. The baked beans were definitely what you’re looking for from a bbq joint. The major winners were the pulled pork and the smoked sausage. I mean worth the trip alone for those two. Succulent and full of flavor. Great snap on the skin. I could clear a plate of that alone. Only complaints we have is the ribs are a little dry and the coleslaw was over peppered. Our next trip out this way will include Hungry Bears BBQ."

"Chickens were burnt. They gave us a bag of hamburger buns instead of dinner rolls. The sides were mediocre. The slice of red velvet cake tasted good, but the size was small for the 3.79 price. This was a takeout order."

"We stopped at the Hungry Bear BBQ for a quick lunch. We ordered chicken strips, a pulled pork sandwich, French fries and baked beans. Everything was luke warm at best. The baked beams were really good. There is limited gravel parking spaces, but it's free parking and off the crowded main drag."
