Wendy's 4800 Hickory Boulevard, Granite Falls, NC 28630

"Sat in the drive thru with only 1 car ahead of me for over 10 mins. Drive thru is set to where you can’t get out of the line if you have a lower vehicle. I watched several cars leave behind me and then when I finally ordered food I went to pay and was told I’d have to pull up and wait some more. I asked how long because we had already been sitting there over 10 mins. Worker got smart mouthed with me and said we are short staffed. Ma’am that’s not my problem and it shouldn’t take 10 mins to take an order and make nuggets when there is only one vehicle ahead. They are very rude employees that need new management"

"Overheard the manager berating an employee about giving out a single chili hot sauce packet to a customer. Frankly, disgusting behavior speaking to them as if she was their mother or something. People are actually paying you 20 bucks for a single combo so a sauce packet really shouldn't be that big of a deal to begin with and it's a small loss to keep customers satisfied and happy. This is how you lose customers over a principle. Maybe this manager should be retrained. To talk that way to an employee in front of a customer is extremely unprofessional."

"I only gave 2 stars because afterhours someone or something lit me up 2 times with freaking brightest street lamps I've ever seen and I was just enjoying darkness and heat:("

"I absolutely love Wendy's food. This time I went to pick up food for my boyfriend's daughter and was absolutely DISGUSTING with the appearance of the inside back behind the counter. I wish I wouldn't have had to reset my phone, because I lost the picture that I took of all the trash on the floor and the trash and over flowed behind the counter. I understand that every fast food place gets slammed but there is NO EXCUSE for the way the kitchen looked at the restaurant at all. The girl that was at the counter taking people's orders was complaining cause she was tired and actually seemed like she was under the influence of something (heavy drug wise) and to me that just isn't the appearance that ANY company would want serving the public."

"I went by for breakfast and when I got to the speaker I heard someone say good morning and I said good morning in return. Apparently she couldn’t hear me so she said good morning a second time and again I returned the good morning. Then a third time she says good morning and all she hears is me saying I want a $3 breakfast special and then I hear with an attitude“Oh no good morning, yea we have $3 breakfast deal” so I say hey that’s a rude way to respond and she says “yea right?” So I say I don’t think I will be making any purchases at this location anymore and she responds with “ good “ so I pull up to the window next to car being served and she sees me but avoids opening the window or acknowledging me until she has the next order completed then drops her apron so I can’t see her name and tells me that I’m blocking her drive through and I need to move. I asked repeatedly for her name and she refused to give it to me, so I for her supervisors name and she refuses to give me that as well. Then she pulls her phone out and takes a photo of me and my car and threatens to call the police on me. I told her that she was rude, and that as the face of the company and in a customer service position has no right to speak to customers in that manner. She replies “ you didn’t say good morning “ so I told her that just because she couldn’t hear me doesn’t give her the right to speak to customers in that manner. Mind you I’m recording this whole interaction and if I’m not mistaken she is dressed in management uniform. Anyhow I won’t be returning to this location again. There are plenty of other places more than happy to have my business."
