"Don’t eat here. Ever. My daughter ordered a filet, it was a sirloin. I ordered a ribeye for $42, it was gristle. My wife and son had sea bass, I am sure it was cod. The asparagus was thin and uncooked. As a Caesar’s member Just don’t ever eat here. Ever."
"Went here to use some reward credits and had a terrible time. Had a great waitress at first, but halfway through dinner, she vanished. They could not cook a steak even though they tried 3 times for me and 2 time for my guest. We sat near the kitchen and could hear all the cooks being yelled at. We just left the casino after this experience. As a bonus, we saw our first waitress leaving as we walked out. Don't know what happened but she was the only positive part of our meal."
"For over $120 for just the wife and I, it wasn't worth it. $2.35 each for a cup of coffee (old) and one ( no refill offered) soft drink. Started out with a cold piece of bread and butter. Then the appetizers were tough popcorn shrimp and grilled (so-so) shrimp. We ordered the rib eye steaks (medium well)and they were stringy and over 1/4 of it was fat and gristle. The large chunks of potatoes in the mashed potatoes were semi-warm and veggies were mushy. The waitress was friendly and attentive. But the food we could of got better at a chain steak house. Not worth the price, but its the only sit down restaurant at the casino so it's eat there or drive to town from there. I eat at one of the food booths next time."
"For our anniversary, my husband and I went to visit the Cherokee Valley casino and ate at The Landing Cafe for our dinner. Before committing to the restaurant we reviewed the menu and were impressed with the variety of dishes. There is also an extensive wine menu with some great names worth checking out. We were sat in a booth and our server promptly came and asked for our beverage order. The restaurant is a wide open concept with booths and tables. It’s almost like a hybrid of a fine dining establishment and a family gathering place. It is not cozy and intimate if that’s what you are looking for- it’s an open view to the kitchen as well which is pleasing. I do wish there was a more private intimate dining area inside The Landing Cafe as we were celebrating our anniversary and ordering an upscale meal however it felt more diner-esk. The meal started with warmed sourdough bread and butter. It was very good and had that tangy and crunchy I love in a well made sourdough. I ordered the NY strip med-rare with a Caesar-salad and loaded baked potato. Hubby ordered chicken Parmesan and both orders were well executed and cooked perfectly. Service was top notch and pricing is on point for the food. I will definitely return and hopefully at some point try a dessert and have a more intimate dining experience there. You honestly would think they would have a more intimate table set up with their wine selections too. If I’m paying 120 or more for a table bottle I want the ambiance to go with it."
"This is our 4th trip here. Not happy yo report that we were very disappointed. There must have been a change in cooking staff. NONE of the food was good, no seasoning on my steak at all I mean at all. PLEASE BRING THE OLD CHEF BACK. The only reason we came back was because our steaks have been amazing unfortunately this will be our last trip here. $42 for a burnt, no flavored steak. I recommend you save your money and eat at the food court."
