"If I could give this business zero stars, i would. I have NEVER had such a bad experience at a retail store. I was in the store well before closing time on Sat evening, Nov. 11. The young girls working were incredibly rude to myself and my daughters. The leader in rudeness took my personal coat and sweater, along with the clothing that we had laid across a chair ready to purchase , and clothing hanging on the doors, ready to try on, and hung them all back up. She also told me that there was only one person allowed in a dressing room after she had taken my personal sweater and I was left in my tank top that I was uncomfortable wearing outside the dressing room. When I asked for my personal clothing back, she accused me of lying and was super angry at me. She then brought me my coat, but not my sweater, and again accused me of lying about the number of people in the dressing room. When I again asked for my sweater, she accused me again of trying to say it was mine when it really belonged to them. We had found a number of things we liked and were looking forward to purchasing, several hundred dollars worth, between the three of us, but we put it all down and walked out without any of it because of how rude the staff was. I don't see myself ever shopping there again, it was such a negative experience. We were all three shocked by how hostile the employees became when they were the ones in the wrong and I asked for my personal clothing back."
"Terrible service and the two people at the counter were as rude as can be. They never asked if I needed help carrying 5 bags of clothes in they never were nice and it just seemed like a issue for me to even ask a question or be in their store. I will never go back there and I will make sure everyone I know does the same. If the person that owns this reads this I hope you know you do a horrible job at running a store. Especially if your going to not take all my clothes then tell me before I take the time and energy to carry them through the parking lot myself."
"I absolutely hate the store i will never go back everytime I go in there they never take much of my clothes and the stuff in there looks worse. They hire nothing but young girls who really don't look at your clothes or if they do they base it off if they would wear it or not but everyone doesn't have the same taste."
"My daughters and I enjoy shopping here—it’s like a treasure hunt and we enjoy the variety of brands at decent prices. I sold to Plato’s Closet Hickory once and probably won’t do it again—they took very little of my stuff and offered very little $$. I have other options where I can make sell more/make more. My daughters and I all agree that the employees are a little frosty and don’t make customers feel welcome. I would love to see improvement in that area."
"Terrible service I was in the store the week before and looked at the hat selection. Which they only had 2 ball caps that were no name and looked like they were thrown in mud then went through a trash compactor. So I decided to take over 10 decent hats including 2 authentic MLB hats that have never been worn and very popular teams and a pair of brand new Russell athletic baseball pants that were never worn it was all very nice stuff and was offered 8.50 for 8 hats and the pants. I asked the man why the price was so low and he chuckled and said it all depends on who looks at your stuff and I'm sorry but that's just horrible I feel like I was treated very unfair and disrespectful. The merchandise I brought brought was very nice compared to most of what they had for sale recently. So apparently you have to be friends with the staff to get good service and a fair price for your stuff."
