"Great atmosphere and food! The waitress seemed to be a bit off, or maybe there was something on her mind. She took my wife's order and then walked off without taking mine, I had to call her back. She tried taking my order without writing it down, and as a result, she had to come back two or three times to clarify. It just made things seem awkward. I had the steak, which was damn good, although It came medium as I ordered medium well. I'm not sure if the order was communicated wrong or the kitchen got it wrong, hard to say. Drinks were served in medium-sized plastic cups, but the waitress did keep them full. I will say a tad bit pricey, but the food and atmosphere sold it for me. The owner seems friendly and talkative. This restaurant fits in great with downtown Merion, a little town in the shadow of Asheville fighting back hard from major economic blows with some help from Crabby Abby's!!"

"Came in for lunch today, had a disappointing experience. Arrived a little after noon, few folks eating / drinking, not busy at all. Ordered drinks, and apps, which were pretty good. Had two orders of oyster tacos for entrees. Someone other than our waitress brought the food. The wraps for the tacos were straight from the refrigerator - cold and stiff. We were done eating by the time we saw our waitress again. I told her we were pretty disappointed with our 30 dollars of cold tacos. She said she would tell them (??) and proceeded to bring me a bill for the full amount. Really disappointing experience given how slow they were. Poor food execution and service, won't be going back."
