"Very helpful staff friendly and will answer your question or find someone who might know more about the product"
"DONT BUY HERE......... False advertising. Went to look at tool boxes, applied for harbor freight credit card to purchase a box for 2,000 and ask if they had them in stock. Lady said yes we have them in boxes in back. Went back later to get box and shows only have one in stock which come to find out it was the display. They refused to sell display unit but doesn't have anything listed on the box saying display only must pre-order. They advertise in stock but won't sell them to you..All they do is false advertise to get you in the door. Putting reviews out there on everything I can."
"This was my first visit to Harbor Freight tools. It offers just about anything that one could want (or afford). The areas are well marked, and I was able to locate my wood burning tool in the crafts section. The staff was friendly and offered good customer service."
"Ridiculous restocking fee upon returning and management will not even try to help wave it no matter the circumstances. I bought a table saw, the mid range saw from the three they sell. When I got home I opened it and noticed rusted and corroded hardware on the saw. That immediately told me the quality of the saw and took it back for a refund. I was told I have 3 options. I can exchange it for the same one (I don't want the same one obviously), exchange it for one of the there two (one is even cheaper, I obviously don't want something worse, the other is 200 dollars more. I don't want to spend over double the price more for the next option up), or I can pay the 20% restock fee that came to a little over 30 dollars. Completely ridiculous. This saw was brand new. I cut the tape extremely clean. I didn't use it, I didn't plug it in, I didn't put it together, I didn't unwrap anything, I didn't even untie the power cable! I saw the corrosion and didn't need to unbox it farther. The return policy states if it is unopened the restocking fee does not apply. This saw was as close to unopened as you can get. Management could have easily seen the circumstances and market it as unopened. But because the tape was cut, that was literally all, I had to pay the 20% restocking fee. Even farther, the staff was rude. While opening the saw back up (because I taped it back to be decent) she cut straight through the box into the Styrofoam. This was the manager. She cut the tape very aggressively and obviously has an attitude issue. I have a reason to be upset. I'm being told I need to pay 30 dollars to return a brand new item. Her job is to de escalate the situation and do her best to make things right, which in this case was very simple. She instead made it worse by having extreme attitude and doing absolutely nothing to help. She just kept saying I can get another or pay the fee those are my options. I will no longer go here despite coming here for years. All it took was a bad manager to loose a customer"
"Harbor Freight is a great place to buy household tools and lots of other things that you can use around the house. While they are not premium top quality tools, they are more than adequate for your home use. And they are good enough for many professional applications. Since the quality varies from item to item, it is important for you to know what your requirements are and how you expect to use them. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are always good. That makes shopping at Harbor Freight a good idea!"
