Farewell

"Farewell nestles into the South Slope like a cat napping in the sun. The coffee is well roasted and the shots perfectly pulled making drinks rich and balanced without bitterness. My pastry didn’t rewrite the book on sweets, but settled nicely between sweet and buttery. The staff approached their craft with care, each drink served hot but not scalding and tastefully adorned. The ambience cuddles into the hillside, plants draping from windowsills and espresso machine group heads growing organically from the countertop. Parking is the only challenge; prepare for a multi-block hike and perhaps to wait for a seat. This locale attracts knitters and students, workers and friends. If you come you’ll find yourself curiously content to stay a while."

"Delicious and quality food + great service. Has indoor and outdoor seating (not covered). Dogs can stay inside as well, assuming they are well behaved/calm. I highly recommend the plain croissant (warmed) and the Veggie Quiche (warmed)."

I literally just typed in "coffee near me" on google when I was in Asheville and when my friends and I showed up to this place we were in awe. this has got to be the best coffee place I've ever been to. from the coffee and plants to the industrial look and great service, this place was incredible. you will not regret coming here. the coffee tastes so good and I would drive all the way from Florida back to Asheville some day just to come to this coffee shop. it's absolutely fantastic!"
