"A cozy mom & pop diner with good food and great service. As others have noted, some of the seating is a bit funky, but it works. I'd rate it a 4 overall if it wasn't for the fact that we've gone there several times during the week when they should be opened, and they were closed without notice or signs. Plus they're not open on either Saturday or Sunday."
"If you are in Asheville and want true country cooking and just amazing food, this is it!! My wife got breakfast and it was perfect and I had the best burger I've ever had!! It is really small so not many seats, so if you have to wait it would be worth it!!"
"We absolutely LOVE eating here. It is very tiny inside and the experience is unique and fun with the warm atmosphere as well as the comical and unique decor!! Don't pass this one up if you like an affordable quaint town feeling restaurant with delicious eats!!!"
"If you're in to comfort food, this is the place to stop. A true slice of diner Americano. The service was wonderful, and the server was polite. If you're hungry like a bear, you will leave like a full one. Cheers!!"
"I was in the area and have always loved a little mom and pop place to eat. The place was clean except the bathrooms. I think they could be cleaner. I had to use the men's room because the female bathroom door wouldn't close. I ordered the grits, bacon and eggs and my husband ordered the other in the photo. The breakfast was great except the grits. They had no flavor and they were very watery. I'm a huge grit lover and always get them with my breakfast. Idk if it's just the cook but I've never had soupy grits. I would love to come back to this place in the future but I do hope they can get the grits correct next time."
