The Original Papa Nicks Take Out

"Used to the the best pizza around, but the last 3 times I've eaten here the pizza is overcooked. The crust is so hard and tuff it's nothing like it used to be. Dinning room needs to be open at lunch time, then is the pizza is uneatable you could send it back ."

"It is the only pizza place in town, so it seems that they know that they don't have to try very hard. I've had to wait over an hour for pizza anytime we've ordered takeout. The pizza is decent but not really noteworthy. We haven't dined in yet, but we hope to soon. The reviews of their garlic knots are strong. Mmmmm."

"My nostalgia for this place is definitely biasing my review, but Papa Nick's has been here ever since I moved here. Never once had a problem with getting the takeout. The people there often do very well with attention to detail. I think the fact that they have been here so long is indicative of at least something that they are doing right. Better than a lot of pizza places when it comes to food and pricing."

"Love the pizza except our friends asked for there's Well-done, it was not (it was very busy when we went on a Friday, they didn't want to wait any longer to return it). Our side salad was disappointing for $5, small handful of lettuce, 2 small slices of cuc and 1/2 slice of tomato (drenched in dressing). Atmosphere was great but very loud when they are busy. Garlic rolls are extremely garlicky."

"I'm half Italian. With that said, it seems that Papa Nick lost his edge. The ravioli..not that fresh. The meat sauce... my 5 year old niece is not Italian, but I think she could do better. Spend more than 10 minutes on this part. Even the salad...pink lettuce. Garlic knots... okay, but only 2 (says it comes with 3). I do not want to sound mean, but if you are going to do ethnic food, you may want to bring in a person who actually understands this type of cooking. I recommend Gordon Ramsey. And he's not Italian. I've tried this place over and over, hoping for better. I'm out. (BTW, cost for this was $30)."
