"I was able to get a good deal on an item I was looking for. The lady that works there(Beverley) was very polite and helpful. Easy access from the roadway and into the store. I would of gave it a 5 star but they didn't have a great big selection to choose from and I understand it all donated items to the store."
"I went into the store about two weeks ago and I started going through the jewelry and of course like all of us do we're looking for the good stuff. The lady behind the counter whom I could tell was getting angry with her huffing and puffing because I was looking through it taking my time. Apologies I thought as a customer we have the right to look at what we are spending our money on but apparently not in this store. The lady behind the counter then ask me what is it that you're looking for? I interned told her well but we all look for the good stuff. What she told me next absolutely floored me.! I was told by her that the manager has a Jeweler's eye and that she goes to the jewelry and looks for what we all call the good stuff and takes it to a jewelry shop and sells it! Now if my recollection is Right whenever it comes to a donation store whenever you donate something to a donation store they are interns supposed to put it out for the public to buy do I have this interpretation of a thrift store wrong? Because every thrift store I've ever been to has always taken all the merchandise that I ever donated and put it out on the floor and that includes jewelry. Except for the one on 268 in Wilkesboro he likes to take stuff home himself but that's neither here or there. But I could not believe that she told me that and needless to say I will not be returning to that Salvation Army and Taylorsville North Carolina because of the rudeness and because of the fact of that commits Fest in my opinion that is theft. You cannot take merchandise that someone donates to you and take and turn it in for money to a jewelry store or whatever have you I was going to look for clothes but I like nice clothes if I can get at a great price like we all do but I thought to myself well there's really no sense in looking all the Abercrombie and American Eagle and Nike stuff is probably been sold to Plato's Closet or somewhere else. In my opinion this store is a skunk. And if you ask me I believe the Taylorsville Police Department need to look into this matter and take care of it immediately in my opinion."
