The Carriage House Restaurant

"Wife loves Prime Rib. We went last night, 12/8 and she ordered Prime Rib. It was really tough and a very large piece of grit through the middle, surprised they even used it as you could see it. Waitress said she was sorry and when I checked out, the man ask how was dinner? I told him that the meat was terrible and he said NOTHING just ran my credit card!! Didn't expect free meal but a little concern would be nice, greed is how I label it, but we know quite a few that eat there and good chance many of us won't be back!! I have eaten there since I was a teenager, never treated like this, seems money is the only motive not treating customers like family and making us happy as they advertise in there statement on the web page!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I wanted to try something different so I was told about the carriage house. I ordered the turkey special which was nasty the gravy was salty,the dressing looked like uncooked dry crumbs no taste what so ever it no moisture .Then the male person who took my order charged me $1.00 for gravy over my rice without letting me know. I was disappointed and wasted $17.00 on that meal . Maybe others had a better outcome. My first impression of the food wasn't good. I expected better"

"A great place to eat for the whole family. The dining area was spacious with plenty of room to maneuver around with my little one. Service was great with regular refills and quick service. One step in and it feels completely different from your run of the mill restaurant in a good way!! We will definitely be back."

"We went here to have lunch after my doctor's appointment because it was close. The parking was limited so we parked in a access lot across the street and walked to the restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant there was this musty damp smell of old mop water. Now we were greeted fairly promptly and asked if we wanted a table or booth we gave our response and was told there would be about a few minutes wait. Which I thought wasn't bad at all for it being lunch time. When our booth was ready we were walked back and seated. A few minutes later a waitress came over gave us menus and took our drink order now by the time the waitress returned with our drinks we were ready to place our food order. I ordered the grilled chicken salad w/raspberry vinaigrette dressing and hubby ordered the beef tips with a baked potato and a side salad. While we waited for our food I took this time to notice the vibe of the restaurant nothing to out of the ordinary I noticed that there were a lot of elderly individuals and what seemed to be regulars who interacted with the waitresses as well as the young gentleman who was clearing and cleaning the tables. Well once our food arrived hubby said grace and blessed the food. Now in my opinion the food just didn't look very appitizing hubby said that his beef tips didn't really have much flavor and my salad wasn't good so I only ate half of it. I took the rest home and that's only because hubby has this thing about wasting food. Now upon leaving there was a gentleman who greeted our exit and asked how everything was. I assume he may have been the manager we simply responded fine and was on our way. I have another doctor's appointment coming up but we won't be returning here for lunch."

"Wonderful dinner tonight. It has been 4 years since we have eaten here. Food was remarkable, chicken livers were incredible."
