"They were SO busy... Cars out in the main highway lined up to pull in. They still got my order exactly right! We love them... affordable and good food every time. Even though they don't have great headsets or equipment like they deserve, I feel like the employees are very kind and on the ball the entire time they're at work."

"The outdoor area was pretty dirty but the food was good. The lady at the window was pretty snappy. I really like cookouts food and will continue to go there however I have noticed that their prices are not what they used to be but I guess that goes for most other things as well. One honest complaint is that though the prices have gone up the portion sizes have gone down on some things. The night hesitate to eat it this location. Even if they mess your order up they will be happy to fix it for you."

"Great location with easy access from both North and Southbound US 52 and East and Westbound Interstate 74 by using North and Southbound US 601 ( Rockford Street ). Restaurant has a double drive thru to help out with the heavy lunchtime traffic and also has parking available for people to use the walk up window to order from and tables available outside to enjoy their meals there."

"Typically when I go to Cookout it’s an awesome experience. They have great shakes and the food is good. Last night something happened that isn’t a normal occurrence. I ordered a shake for myself and my wife and when I got up to the window I specifically asked if they were the correct flavor. The lady said yes they are correct. Got them home and my wife’s was incorrect. This was the first time this has happened. Just make sure to check before you leave."

"Sadly it's not possible for me to give "zero stars." Hate negativity, but honesty is worth more so here we go. Food was cold, flavorless, and over cooked. Not the corn dog though... that was undercooked. :) One good thing about this place is that they provided a decent amount of pickles! They did exchange the burger-patty for those pickles, but that's besides the point. Anyways, I'd advise going to the Chick-fil-A across the street, or waiting for a better meal... that's all."
