Belk

"I visited Belks in Mount Airy today to spend my birthday coupon. The selection was so poor that I finally ditched the effort and drove to Winston- Salem. It is a shame that Mount Airy has a mall with no stores so people either have to leave Mount Airy or buy online. I guess this helps protect the junk stones downtown. Interestingly, we have someone that supposedly is working to bring in new business but I can't remember one. Why not try to bring in factory direct stores like Tanger? Mount Airy wants tourists but the only thing Mount Airy has is Main Street with junk stores. Imagine if you gave someone a reason to come here and revenue it would create."

"So this has got to be the smallest Belk I've ever been to but when I checked out, a very kind Chasity helped me . She was, cheerful, very friendly and informative and is the reason I gave this store four stars. Tiny store in a tiny town with a very limited selection of men's clothing. I was looking for a suit or some nice pants but could not find my size. I was able to find a nice shirt and tie and got a very good price. I'm sure I'll go back."

"This Belk in Mt. Airy is pretty lacking in retail customer service and products that make sense. Example: a child's sweat shirt for 25% off full price, but the sweat pants that match are full price (and high priced to start with). Whoever heard of a pricing practice like this? We put the items back. It's time to really start getting the word out to the Mt. Airy to Galax region residents to avoid this Belk store. People are complaining more and more about this store's terrible service and pricing strategies. Just add us to the list. BTW, even in 2023 this Belk store still refuses to provide handicap supportive restrooms."

"This store is always clean and the sales associates are nice and helpful. Their rewards add up pretty quickly if you have a belk card, and they're always having sales and coupons to use. I almost always find something I like every time I go."

"This is an excellent store for nice clothing and accessories. Very nice, clean organized store. Well stocked of clothing, etc. for the whole family. Good sale during my visit, so good prices. I try to stop here whenever we are in the area! Lots to look at, never have had time to go over the whole store. Nice variety."
