Cockerham Tire & Auto Parts #2 900 South Main Street, Galax, VA 24333

"Cockerham Tire & Auto did a frontend alignment on my vehicle several weeks ago. At first the alignment was great and rode great. On 12/1/23 just after getting off the interstate the tie rod came out and luckily nobody was hurt. I had to have the vehicle towed to the house and I replaced the castle nut but the vehicle needs to be re-aligned. I called Cockerham and talked with Luke and told him what happened and that Cockerham was the last and only business to work on the vehicle and that it needs to be re-aligned. Luke apologized and was very understanding, he said they do not have anyone now that can operate the alignment machine and don't know when they will hire somebody, I told him that I just purchased 4 new tires the day before the alignment and that I don't want them to get anymore damaged that necessary. I asked if I can take the vehicle elsewhere to get the alignment and get reimbursed and he said he would talk with the district manager Michelle. Luke called back and said Michelle said that they will not pay to have it done at another shop and that he was very sorry. I called Michelle and asked why and she said because it had been several weeks that who knows what mechanical issues and other shops had worked on the vehicle. I told her none that Cockerham was the last and she just said sorry. If I wanted it re-aligned I would have to pay for a new alignment, I was confused and said I just paid for this one and is there no warranty or anything that comes with it and Michelle said no that there is no warranty on labor worker of anything at Cockerham. I was absolutely speechless and all she could say was sorry that there is no warranty with alignments. Look, I was not asking for anything other than what I considered to be the right thing nothing more and nothing less but Cockerham has absolutely proved what type of business and how they conduct business which is horrible. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE GO TO A REPUTABLE CHAIN NOT YOUR BACKWOODS SMALL TOWN BUSINESS!!! ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COCKERHAM DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE THE REQUIRED 1 STAR RATING!!!!!"

"Don't go to this place for anything but an oil change and inspection . Garage is not capable for anything else. Place has went down the hill. Have left messages with corporate without a reply. Would love to be able to work this situation resolved."
