"They ordered a dress for my daughter that she didnt like or want without permission and wouldnt offer to give my money back that I paid for it. She was very very rude and hung up on me said she would call me if they didnt have the one she wanted in stock to makw sure if we wanted her to order the other one and she didnt call me not one time. It was the most horrible experience I ever had. Wish I wouldve looked the site up and read the reviews before I went there and paid money for something that me or my child wanted. Seems like all she wants is the money."

"Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service, lady was extremely rude. We ordered a tux three months before prom to make sure she got the right color and that it fit... She didn’t have it ready until the day before prom... and it was the wrong color, which I could deal with even though it was ugly, but it didn’t even fit!! And we tried to ensure that she had more than plenty of time! When we respectfully told her it was the wrong color and didn’t fit, but we had no ther choice at this point, she responded very rudely, so we somehow managed to get our money back, but most people are not so lucky so DO NOT risk it! While waiting on this, we watched two other people in front of us suffer from the same problem, she didn’t have it ready until the day before and it didn’t even fit; however, they were not as lucky, for she rudely refused to issue a refund. Absolutely horrible experience, do not go here."

"Worst customer service EVER! I took my wedding dress to Golden Threads to be taken in and the woman ruined it. She butchered the dress, took it in to the point where it wouldn't even zip. When I asked if she could re-alter it she said no, that it was my fault that it didn't fit, and then refused to issue a refund (she charges up front). Beyond that, the work was just sloppy. She left her seams undone, there are 2 huge gaping holes in the top of the bodice, I was charged extra for padding that she only tacked in (she suggested that I complete the sewing with a whip stitch at home), and she charged me $10 for steaming that NEVER happened. All I can say is buyer beware! The only thing you'll get from this store is a trail of tears and an empty wallet."
